reply to Drasko

SArjuna
Sorry to be lagging seriously in the conversation here. On June 4
Drasko asked what I meant when I asked if he had checked the new house for ground
currents and electrical pollution.
By ground currents I mean current returning to the substation via the
ground, terra firma. In most places in the USA, about 75% of the utility
current returns to the substations this way, just 25% on the wiring.
By electrical pollution I mean the health-damaging high frequencies
(mostly about 25 kHz) that are part of the current delivered by the utility.
These frequencies are broadcast about 6 feet from all the wiring in a building,
and anything else they have flowed onto, such as water pipes. See
www.electricalpollution.com for more on this issue.

Regards,
Shivani

Hi, Shivani!
Better ever (your answer) than never! :-)

You see, I keep saying, these issues "from twilight zone", which are not
properly publicly discussed do recruit, besides us, enthusiasts, - also a
number of missinterpreters, cheaters, ignorants, etc., not to mention the
rest... So it is very important to keep the eyes open as to try to select
the facts from other stuff... Most things are not testable what makes our
issues more complicated.

I want to tell you that you shouldn't believe everything you read. The fact
that 75% of current returns through ground is simply not even near truth.
Even it was 7.5%, it would have been so great that all the powerlines would
have radiated strong magnetic fields all around, what would have been easily
measurable, in ranges much more than we usually find around street power
lines (in order of several mG).
All that ground currents issue exists, but at some places, and it is
obviously measurable.

Similarly, the issue with kHz pollution from home wiring also seems to be
generally exaggerated in the texts that mains filter manufacturers present,
as I had already commented to you before. Something in kHz range does come
out of wires but not nearly as they present.

Anyway, I don't deny that the ground currents and "electropollution" (the
way you define it) could have been a source of some trouble, but they give
much smaller readings at the objective meters than you would have imagined
it!

I hope you don't mind a bit of criticism!

Drasko

P. S. Regarding dowsing, it is similar... There is something to it, but not
nearly as the dowsers I know would like it to be...
You should try more objective blind tests, such as that I mentioned - the
readings of two dowsers for the same place should have been the same, but
that rarely happens... I mean try to find another one if you dare :-)!

Earth As Neutral - Legal?

karen
Is the ground current you describe what is referred to as "using the earth as a neutral?"   Is this legal?
