Sri Ravi Shankar on radiation being bad for our health
For those who don't know, Sri Ravi Shankar is a Teacher in India, seen like a saint by many.
I knew about him as I did one of his courses, a breathing meditation course called Suddashan Kriya and had a very deep and fast transformation - a feeling of deep well being that lasted 3 whole weeks, no break.
I realized his breathing technique had strong impact in my mind and soul, more than any other type of meditation I had done before.
He said: breathing follows the mind. Control the breathing, you control the mind. So through breathing, you can meditate. Not a new idea in yoga, but truly, I never lived anything like that, so powerful.
So, that's why I came to know about him. He's extremely respected in India, by different religious group. He runs a huge orphanage there, and gathers money through these courses of breathing, basically.
He's also a peace activist, traveling the world to teach meditation to anyone.
His voice sounds more like a woman than a man. Very soft, clear, he never loses his patience, amazing character.
Here is what he writes about the origin of disease.
It's interesting what he writes about radiation, weakening humankind.
