No safe microwave oven?

Romana
Are all microwave ovens emitting large amounts of esmog or are there some safe ones? Are there difference between brands?

All microwave ovens which I've measured were bad and frequently maxed out an EMF meter at 2000 uw/m2.  With some you can stand directly behind them and not measure any radiation - but they all put out a huge magnetic field too, which is even measureabl when not in use so that an ES person would not want to stay near one.  I threw mine out.  The radiation is also known to destroy the nutritional value of food possibly making it toxic.

You did get my reply?  Nabble sent a message failure notice when I replied to you, Romana.  For many months emails from the ES group stopped coming to my inbox, but just recently they started appearing again.  Anyway, I measured at approx. 10'.  Microwave ovens are not Faraday cages so the gigahertz radiation escapes into the surrounding environment.

the food cooked in it get's messed up. you still wanna eat that ?

This is what a microwave oven measures in terms of magnetic fields:

Using the UHS2 gaussmeter I was able to discover the following.

The notes below apply only for this video.

- As you can see from the start the levels in my bedroom are low. When I approach the UHS2 meter to the mirror of my bathroom (next to the kitchen) the levels rise up to 6 mG. Watch again at 02:40 .

At 0:49 and 02:53 notice how the levels from the living room are also low, more or less 0.06 mG. The same for the 2nd bedroom at 02:02 .

- 01:00 - Entering the kitchen we'll see the fridge influences the magnetic field surrounding to a point the gaussmeter registers 0.5 mG even not so close.

- 02:10 and 06:40 - A 2nd fridge is measured. This other model (bigger and more potent when compared to the previous one from the kitchen) emits more radiation, and contrary to the one from the kitchen it does not turn anything inside off.

- 03:12 - The microwave oven starts to heat a plate for the next 90 seconds. The distance from the microwave to the living room is this: 2 meters/6.5 ft to the kitchen's door and another 3 meters/9.8 ft to the table. Minus the walls that are an obstacle.

The increase in the magnetic field in such conditions is barely noticeable, the UHS2 registered 0.08 mG from the table. The same thing happens in my bedroom, starting from 03:41 , see that it measured 0.10 mG.

- 04:00 - Now I walk towards the kitchen, while the microwave oven is still turned ON. And prove that close to microwave the magnetic field is VERY HIGH.

- 04:24 - Pay attention to the levels registered close to the bathroom's mirror, that is in a straight line to the kitchen. From 04:40 onwards the UHS2 shows 5 mG, and at the same moment the microwave oven warns us it's turned OFF (seconds later) the magnetic fields decrease to 3.5 (or 1.5 mG less).

A good proof that it doesn't matter if the walls separating the kitchen and this bathroom are thick, we needed to put some distance between us and the device. As you can see my bedroom is a perfect location to wait until the microwave oven is turned off.

- 05:14 - With the microwave oven turned off I walk towards the kitchen again. Close to the kitchen's door the UHS2 registers only 0.2 mG.

- 08:04 - There's a brutal reduction in the magnetic field measured from this point. In the bathroom next to the kitchen, and when we move the meter to the smaller fridge this also occurs. This leads to the following conclusions: 1) It's the refrigerator that is generating the magnetic field in this bathroom, and 2) the magnetic field generated by the refrigerator must have been reduced after something was turned off (in this fridge) from inside.

This "something" is the responsible for higher magnetic fields.

That's the most plausible explanation. This happened before and once I remember hearing a quick noise coming from this same refrigerator - that could indicate this is exactly what changed.

Besides, this EMF meter continues to register higher levels for the bigger fridge located in the 3rd room.

Conclusion:

Before that I must say in later measures I noticed an increase in this bathroom mirror of 4 mG (the usual 4 to 8 - probably some wiring error from the kitchen). That indicates a microwave oven has a very strong magnetic field and the only way to avoid it is putting some safe distance between you and it, and wait while it's on in your BEDROOM. In my case distance PLUS walls blocked all radiation.

As far as I know all microwave ovens are just like this one, which was bought a year ago.

I read suggestions about a steam convection oven being a good replacement, what I don't know is how it would measure in terms of magnetic field.

I also question how this would work exactly, since I leave all my food in the fridge (for days) and later I heat it in the microwave all the glass plates. It was also said these devices are energy-hungry when compared to microwave ovens.
